Stainless Steel Best Choice for Outdoor Kitchens

In today's outdoor kitchen market there is, naturally, a lot of choice and can be difficult to decide what is the most practical, aesthetically pleasing and the best value for money. Having had a look around it is clear to see that stainless steel outdoor kitchens are by far the leading product in their field. It is bold claim to say that stainless steel outdoor kitchens are the leading products in their field, but just take a look at the facts and its clear to see they really are.

Stainless steel is by the most sanitary, easiest to clean and therefore the most hygienic or also all the Special Type Corrugated Steel Pipe. The shiny smooth surfaces of stainless steel outdoor kitchens are designed so they do not have indentations and grooves; this means grease and grime can collect in certain places leading to the growth of harmful bacteria. Stainless steel can also be wiped down with ease keeping your outdoor kitchen islands spotlessly clean for you and your guests.Stainless steel looks 'the business' and gives the impression of professionalism, modernity and freshness. In days of old, stainless steel was associated with institutions and had no stylistic appeal.

Nowadays this just simply is not true, manufacturers of stainless steel kitchens, accessories, cabinets and islands work with the best designers to bring a cool and futuristic feel to your outdoor kitchen accessories. Often other elements such as wood, other metals and inset glass are used to improve the aesthetic appeal of the kitchen units. If you don't believe me then take a look at these designs and tell me they are not breath-taking.Next on the list has to be durability, the whole point of stainless steel is that it lasts and lasts for a long time. It is the most durable of all the other alternative materials for outdoor kitchen - wood rots and metal rusts; stainless steel does not stain, corrode or rust.

The chromium contained inside the stainless steel forms a passive film of chromium oxide, which prevents surface corrosion and prohibits corrosion from spreading into the metal's internal structure. The main problem with outdoor kitchens and cabinets is that they exposed to the elements; but with stainless steel you are protected all year round. The easy to clean nature of the stainless steel also means that maintenance is less of a chore; better maintenance means a longer life! Finally, stainless steel is actually 100% recyclable giving it great green credentials.

Approximately 60% of any stainless steel product is composed of recycled material; the recycled material is taken from end-of-life products and also from manufacturing processes. If you are thinking of buying an outdoor kitchen remember that stainless steel is the cleanest, longest lasting, most stylish and when it does eventually come to the end of its life, recyclable.

Producing Corrosion Alloy Welded Pipes

-->
-->

Brief description of the manufacturing process producing corrosion alloy welded pipes, stainless, steel, tainless.

Inox Tech manufactures longitudinally welded pipes from plate.
The strength of its production stands on the flexibility to produce a wide range of dimensions and materials; this allows the factory to offer complete pipe lists for many Oil & Gas applications.

The mill is capable to supply pipes with plates coming from quarto as well as from coil, starting from the flat plate that can be UT tested to check laminar imperfections.
The plate is initially beveled for the welding, then formed and tack welded, then welded inside and outside.
After these operations the weld is then x-rayed and/or UT tested, then the pipe is heat treated (typically solution annealed), calibrated to obtain perfect roundness and straightness and hydro tested.

Final operations of end beveling,  pickling and passivation, marking and color coding are then completed with the final visual and dimensional check, to release pipes for collection by the client.

Simultaneously destructive tests on pipes samples are performed at the laboratory, to check mechanical properties of the finished product, in order to guarantee characteristics according to specs.

Eg. manufactures Inox Tech :
  • Large diameter (up to 100") / heavy wall welded pipes (upto 60mm)
  • Unit length up to 12 mtrs with no circular joints
  • Pipes produced by plate, welded and calibrated, ID/ODtight tolerances
  • Stainless / Duplex / Ni alloys / Clad / Carbon
  • Production capacity up to 25.000 tons per year
  • Advanced welding techniques
  • Mill approved by Shell, Total, Aramco, PDO, Exxon, Statoiland others

Large size stainless steel welded pipes

Stainless steel welded pipes with large diameter is the core businessof Inox Tech, the leading manufacturer located in Italy producing thisniche component, mainly used for LNG plants, oil extraction anddesalination-desulphurization plants.

With a covered and uncoveredarea of approx 80.000 square mtrs and 120 employees, 80% of working onthree shifts, Inox Tech leads the market of the large size stainlesssteel welded pipes since mid 90s.
The strength of Inox Techtechnology stands in the ability to manufacture a wide size range withsmall quantities as well as complete project supplies up to severalkilometers and thousands of tones of pipes. This is called Inox techflexibility, and has created the success of the company which is now atthe top level in this market.

The Company is stronglycustomer-oriented, and focuses its targets to the main EPC contractors, who can be served with the most efficient documentation service, as wellas with an efficient project management that allows the client tomonitor production day by day.

Some examples of projects executedfor the main global EPC contractors are:
Algeria (Saipem,Sonatrach)7.000mtrs, 2.500Tons
Chile/Peru (CB&I) 9.500mtrs, 1.350Tons
Iran (OIEC, IOEC, Sepanair)8.000mtrs,2.000Tons
Korea (Korea Gas, Hyundai, Samsung) 5.000mtrs, 1.450Tons

UAE (Petrofac, Gasco) 4.000mtrs,1.000Tons
UK (CB&I, BP) 5.000mtrs, 1.200Tons.

The sizerange for the large diameter pipes covers from 24" up to 80", from 5 upto 50-60mm wall thickness, and all these sizes can be manufactured in 12mtrs random length.
The manufacturing method varies from size tosize, and it is mainly limited to the capability of the steel mills tomanufacture such wide plates. These limits are easily exceeded by InoxTech with its long term experience and a cut-to-size equipment thatallow the mill to satisfy customers need in every single occasion.

Thematerial range varies from the "normal" stainless steel, namely 300series, up to duplex and superduplex, Nickel alloys, bimetal materials(clad) and have also a dedicated line for carbon steel for urgentdeliveries.
The company designs, manufactures and updates byitself all the machines in the mill, and has just completed aninvestment plan of several millions euros for the set up of a new millwith new facilities dedicated to the manufacturing of stainless steelwelded pipes, with large diameter.

The new mill is just in front of theold one, and will allow the Company to enlarge the production capacityas well as the production range. The mill has an annual productioncapacity of approx 25.000 tons, that will be increased by 25% by theend of 2011 when the second part of the investment plan will becompleted.

ASTM, DIN, N.F.A. Quality Standards and converted by ISO 9002 quality system. The fact that
our company is a relatively newcomer on the market gives us the advantage of having our complete manufacturing plant containing only up-to-date production equipment
based on the most modern technology known today. This was probably also the primary factor that permitted us to obtain in a very short time leading market position as suppliers to some of the most selective customers in various parts of the World, developing this way a
considerable notoriety and positive image for our company. The implementation of this advanced technology in our manufacturing system not only permits us to continuously supply
products of the highest level of quality.Inox Tech first began producing stainless steel welded
pipes in 1992, primarily targeting the energy markets.Since then, the company has been able to quickly establish itself as a major player in the international stainless steel pipe markets, specialising in thick-wall, large-diameter pipes and tubes. According to Mr Poggio, it has done
so through its dedication to product quality and production flexibility and through its partnership with the Ronda industrial group, a partner boasting 30 years of leadership in working stainless steel. Already from the start, Inox Tech has been specialised in manufacturing big pipes and stainless steel forming . When the company was founded in 1989, it was decided that the highly competitive market for thin-wall, smalldiameter tubes made in mass-production systems was to be left alone. After careful consideration and market research, the Ronda group concluded that Inox Tech’s future would be in the production of thick-wall, largediameter pipes in view of the constantly growing market.
